Crypto card fees on BitPay Card, and what it offers
Three fields decide what BitPay Card costs: the annual fee, the issuance fee and the top-up fee. For this card the dataset holds an annual fee of Free, an issuance fee of $10 and a top-up fee of Free. Top-up is the one that recurs, because it is charged each time value is moved onto the card, which is why it costs more over a year than the annual fee usually does. BitPay Card publishes an ATM limit of $6,000, which is the most it will hand out in cash.
| Network | Form | KYC | Annual fee | Issuance | Top-up | Cashback | ATM limit | Wallets | In the US |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mastercard | Virtual, Physical | Required | Free | $10 | Free | 0% | $6,000 | Apple Pay, Google Pay | No |
A dash in this table means the provider dataset holds no value for that field. It does not mean the fee is zero. Fee and limit data was last updated 2026-10-02.
Where BitPay Card is available
The provider lists as supported, and excludes EU, UK, AU, CA, JP, CN, RU, IN and 2 more. Availability is the first thing to check, because a lower fee does not help if the provider will not issue to you.
What you can spend from BitPay Card
The provider supports these assets directly on the card: BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, DOGE, USDC. Anything not on that list has to be converted before you spend it, and the conversion fee applies.
